Spring 2008

  • Books For Buns In the spring of 2008, we will start our "Books for Buns" program. Through a generous donation from the national House Rabbit Society, we will donate copies of the House Rabbit Handbook to some libraries and shelters in Alabama. Does your library have a copy?

  • Cottontail's Arts and Craft Show EARS is also gearing up for Cottontails Village Arts & Crafts Show (Birmingham) Feb 29-Mar 2. This craft show with over 500 vendors is a great opportunity to educate the bunny-friendly public about what it is really like to live with a rabbit BEFORE Easter is here. Because this convention is so well promoted and heavily attended, EARS volunteers rarely have a moment to sit down! It's a lot of fun! And if you are looking to learn a little more about rabbit care and behavior, it's a great opportunity to "hang back" and learn from our educators!

    EARS needs volunteers to help set up the booth, attend the event (Fri., Sat. and Sun) and take down the booth at the end of the weekend.

  • Please Renew your Membership today! Membership to Alabama EARS is still low--only $10 per year. You can join/renew online with Paypal, or any major credit card. If you prefer snail mail, a check is great too! We keep our membership lo dues low on purpose.
