Buns Sponsor Buns

Would you like to help a foster rabbit AND show off your own bunny at the same time? For a mere $20 tax-deductible donation (If you are feeling generous you are welcome to donate more!!) your rabbit's picture will be posted on this website as the sponsoring bun of an EARS foster bun. In just two easy steps your bunny can be a sponsor:

  1. Snail mail your tax-deductible donation to Alabama EARS at PO Box 130218, Birmingham, AL 35213. Or, use your PayPal account or credit card to send an online donation. Specify "Buns Sponsor" in the Donation For line.
  2. Email us a jpg photo of your bun (or beloved pet who is sponsoring), along with a short description you would like to appear on the website. (If you want us to write something instead we are happy to do it.) Make sure to tell us which bunny you want to sponsor! Once the sponsored bunny is adopted, your bunny's name will join the list at the bottom of this page.

Sponsor Buns

Abby is a little girl with a spunky attitude. She loves to rabbit race and binky during play time. She's quite a talker and "honks" to express herself--for everything from "stay out of my territory" to "where's my dinner?"

George seems like the perfect bun to sponsor Abby. His mom thought of him as a "furry little race car" and he was always happy to the see next day--and the next meal! George is credited in his home for teaching his humans how to properly groom (especially difficult places like ear tops), how to properly binky, and what tugging on a pant leg means--obviously a time for a treat! .

Victoria is a great girl with a lot of love to give. She's an extremely curious and entertaining girl who loves to explore and play.

Rupert is moving to Washing D.C. but he is still using his allowance to sponsor an Alabama bunny! We think that's pretty great of Rupert (and of his mom). Rupert looks like an explorer bunny, so we think it's fitting that he sponsors Victoria. Thanks Rupert!!

Calvin is a happy bun who uses his sweet face and ears to get extra attention from foster home visitors. His favorite foods are organic vegetables - especially kale and parsley. When it is time for his banana treat each morning in the foster home, he runs to the front of his pen, begs, and does he happy dance (and sometimes a binky or two!). After his banana, he'll arrange the toys in his pen just right before snuggling down for his early morning nap.

Snoopy and Olivia are a bonded pair of bunnies who are sponsoring Calvin. We hope to have a photo of them soon, becuse they are just soooo adorable.

Ricky is part of a pair: Lucy is his best friend. Ricky has been with EARS since he was a baby so he's always been loved and well cared for. Ricky is a very busy bunny taking care of his and everyone else's business. He is great at climbing and going wherever he needs to go. He is a very gentle bunny, and will happily snuggle down when he is offered attention, but he is has a lot to take care of in between.

Rusty is a great bunny with a big allowance. He has sponsored several of Alabama EARS' bunnies. We suspect it is because he was once an EARS bunny himself. Thanks, Rusty!

peyton.jpg rusty.jpg

Peyton is the daughter of Holly and Rusty. She is brown with a white tail and tummy and she has that storybook bunny look. She is probably the most social of the group. She is gentle and loves to be petted. She loves to eat and is doing quite well with her litter box. She enjoys playing and sleeping in her cardboard box with her sisters, Sydney and Priscilla.

Rusty has been adopted to a wonderful home in Tuscaloosa but he hasn't forgotten about his kids in the foster home. He arrived at our foster home with five babies in tow, one of which was Peyton. Rusty used to love to rip apart his cardboard box when he was in foster care, and Peyton prefers to sleep in hers. Rusty thinks "to each her own" and isn't worried about the difference in leisure activities between the generations. And we don't think he's worried about Peyton finding a forever home, either--just look at that gorgeous girl.
