Chaz, Chris & Elliot are best friends. They are no longer up for adoption as they are classified as sanctuary bunnies. The foster home they live in gives them unlimited love and all the attention that these wonderful bunnies deserve. Their caretakers are part of the "forever foster parents" program through Alabama EARS. Basically, this program makes it possible for these wonderful bunnies to be in a home where they live the life that all bunnies should, but Alabama EARS picks up the medical costs when needed. They will live in sanctuary care for the rest of their lives.

About this trio:

This bonding was easy-peasy--it was of their own choosing--all three bunnies chose to live together and have been snuggling, grooming and eating and playing together ever since.

Chaz is an adorable lop--she is a "10" on the adorable bunny scale. She is adventurous, outgoing, friendly and decided that she had met her bunny soul mates as soon as she came to the foster home.

Brothers Chris and Elliot welcomed her with open paws--we think they feel she "completes them" because they have been much more social since Chaz moved in. Perhaps because Chaz taught them that taking a piece of banana or cilantro from a human hand is a lot faster than waiting for the meal to make it to the dinner bowl, or because Chaz has taught them that hands mean hugs.

Oh, and we'll pass along something that an EARS member with her own trio of rabbits shared with us: "The first time I tried to feed my trio of bunnies a morning treat of banana at the same time, I was hooked. It was an amazing blur of tails, and ears and twitching noses and very excited rabbits all trying to crawl into my lap at once. Now, I cannot imagine it ever being different!"
