ADOPTED
Alice was a bunny who needed our help. We aren't sure where she was abandoned but we found her in a parking lot hiding under a car. Linda, never one to let a little bit of dirt come between her and a bunny who needs help, crawled underneath the car, arms out-stretched and prepared herself for a scared, lunging rabbit. To her wonderful surprise, this friendly lop knew a good thing when she saw it and hopped over to Linda's arms and into an EARS foster home. Of course Linda's shopping was "done" and off to Riverview she went with Alice for a full check-up.
Alice is super friendly and super sweet. She is a young bunny and we don't think had been abandoned outside too long before we found her--she was quite clean and was lucky enough to not have any of parasites we often see with outside rabbits. Alice is a curious girl and entertaining. We are still getting to know her but we suspect that with her easy-going attitude and desire to be loved on she'll be a good bunny for a first time home, and will probably be a good best-bun friend for a neutered male. We know this for certain: if you adopt her get ready to give her lots of petting and attention because she has been properly spoiled in the short time she has been in foster care and has come to expect being the center of attention.
Alice weighs 4.5 pounds and has eyes so brown they will make you melt. We think she was a discarded Easter bunny and might have a little bit of growing left to do, but she's not going to get much bigger if she does grow.
