Robin
About Robin: Robin is just a baby and was born a couple of days before coming to EARS. He was the first bunny of the babies to be named and the second bunny we saw do a binky. Robin is a sweet, sweet bunny. So far, he loves to run and play but stops for attention anytime it is offered. He enjoys a full-bunny massage (pets from ears to tail) and will even put his chin all the way on the floor while being petted. He's a curious little guy too, and doesn't seem to be afraid of much. He won't be available for adoption until he has recovered from his neuter. (We think around Dec. 2009). We'll add his personality profile as he grows and we get to know him better but we hope that anyone interested in adopting him comes to our holiday party on Dec. 6th in Birmingham. It will be a great opportunity to meet all of our bunnies looking for forever homes!
Robin was Named By: EARS member Ann Waldrop. Ann chose the name Robin in honor of her beloved bunny.
Here is the story behind the name as told by Ann:
"The bunny above, looks EXACTLY like my little bunny, Robin, who left for the Rainbow Bridge on April 27, 2008. He was the most adorable, sweet, loving little boy! He was born with a missing ball joint in his left hip which caused his little leg to stick straight out to the side, but he never let it stop him, or even slow him down! He could binky with the best of them! Whenever I walked into the room, he would come charging across the room to meet me and cover me with the sweetest bunny kisses! He was the tiny "Robin" (2 pounds) to our big girl, "Batman" (15 pounds). They were an odd couple but just loved each other so much! I miss him every single day... Please consider naming baby bunny 2 after our sweet little boy Robin. I can provide photos of him for the lucky person who adopts his namesake. We would be honored to have this little one named after him."
