Visit Peanut's Photo Gallery. I Want my Bun to Sponsor Peanut.

Peanut was found wandering by the roadside in a busy area. She has blue eyes and big, BIG ears, and is "left-eared" as her left ear is uppity and her right ear is floppy!
Peanut came to EARS after being found by the roadside. She was too young to be away from her momma rabbit (we estimate she was only a few weeks old) and too young to be spayed. Her first couple of months with us were spent by her foster mom nurturing her to make sure that she had everything she needed--and a whole lot of whatever she wanted.
Peanut is also a very, very, very curious bunny. (She reminds us of another bunny from a couple of years back who we think was part bunny, part goat due to her desire to climb high to go on adventures.)
Peanut is one of those bunnies who will run and play and hop and binky and show you that she has so much to do, so much to get into, that you will never be bored watching this girl play. We think that Peanut has the personal motto of "Carpe Diem" and she is willing to share what that means to her with the humans in her life.
Peanut is such a wonderful bunny and we know that she will bring joy to her forever home, and everyday she will provide a wonderful distraction for someone who wants to leave all that "stuff" at the office when they come home at night. However, she must go to a home that understands that she is a bunny who needs LOTS of space to run and run, and that she is not a cuddly bunny. She is a very independent girl and is best suited in a home who has a had a bunny in the past, and is willing to take the time to let Peanut get to know them.
We also think that Peanut would be best in an adult-only home or a home where there are no young children. (She does tend to nip when startled which can be scary.) She loves to be petted while lying on the bed (and will even flop on her side with a sense of great satisfaction) but has a rather "hand off" policy when she is running around on the floor.
