Oh my goodness, if you want a bunny who wants to be loved, Matisse might be the boy for you.
Matisse was only a few days old when he came to EARS. He has been loved and held and well-cared for since the day he was born which is probably why he is so loving. He is easy to pick up and handle and all he really wants is to be loved and petted--ALL THE TIME! If he is eating veggies and you simply pat him on the head he will stop eating immediately to give you his full attention.
Matisse is a playful boy and likes to explore when it is his time in the playroom. He dances and chins and tosses this or that before needing to flop and cool off for a while. He seems to like the inexpensive toys (like cement tube tunnels and cardboard hay boxes) but he'll toss around the clean cap from an laundry detergent bottle if given the option.
Matisse doesn't seem to mind other bunnies and so he might be ideal for someone with a spayed female or someone who is looking to adopt two rabbits at the same time. (We can help with the bonding in either case.) If you adopt Matisse, be prepared to give him all the attention he wants because this little boy needs lots of it to be happy.
