Margo
Margo is so adorable it's hard to believe. What makes Margo special is her insistence on a pre-breakfast run. Every morning, when her caretaker opens the door to Margo's apartment, in a little flash of brown Margo darts out of her apartment, runs up the hallway, runs a lap around the room and bolts back into her apartment ready to eat. She might be little but she is FAST! The entire lap takes her only a few seconds. We think she might be the Michael Phelps of the bunny world! Margo is also a very vocal girl. She grunts and snorts and makes little squeaky noises to say "yum," and "more please," and "I love tearing up this cardboard box." Margo also snores. Yes, you read that right: she snores. LOUDLY! So even though she is a small, 3 lb bunny, you probably are not going to want to put her in your bedroom. We find it adorable but know that not everyone will! Margo came to us from an unfortunate situation. She was kept in a tiny cage and never allowed to run. When she came to EARS it was the first time in her life where she felt safe and cared for, was able to run and and play and hop and dance and fully stretch out to her little heart's content. Margo is a small bunny and we joke that she was built for speed. She is a highly independent rabbit and is somewhat afraid of being picked up. She needs lots of reassurance from her human caregivers and needs someone who won't be offended when Margo would rather run and play than take time to be petted. She is a wonderful bunny to watch run and and leap and play but if you are looking for a rabbit to have long petting sessions while watching t.v. she isn't the bunny for you. She is a wonderful girl and needs to go to a home that will understand that interacting with her will start with you watching her entertain you with her spirited running and dancing and toy flipping.
