Adam ADOPTION PENDING

About Adam:Adam is shy. We've put it right out there so you know. He isn't going to race up to meet you when you visit the foster home but he will come to check you out if you are patient.

Adam just likes to take his time to explore his new world. Adam likes to play but he also likes to know that there is a human not far away who can reassure him that there aren't any hawks or other creatures lurking about.  Adam is a good explorer, and is certainly curious, but he doesn't seem to be one to get into trouble. He will carefully take treats and food from our hands and eat it with care instead of gobbling it down. He doesn't run away to eat it but instead stays by the food bringer--we think just in case there is another treat to follow. (There usually is.)

Adam has no problem flopping out in the middle of the room during playtime. It's wonderful to have the full life history on bunnies sometimes and since he was born just a couple of days before coming to EARS, we pretty much know it all. His momma and siblings were kept together as long as we could and still have them all safe, happy and healthy.

Once he is reassured that you are there to love him and  give him kind and gentle attention, Adam becomes VERY friendly. He has been loved on and cared for since the day he was born so he has no fear of humans whatsoever. Adam immediately trusts every foster home visitor and loves attention so much that he will stop eating and put his chin wayyyyyyy down if that means some gentle petting by a human.

Adam was Named By: Karin Elxnath from Germany! Karin chose the name Adam in honor of her beloved bunny who has gone to the Rainbow Bridge.
