BYOBP Party
(Bring Your Own Bunny Photo)

On August 9, 2003, we had our
BYOBP (Bring Your Own Bunny
Photo) party.  It is much too hot in the
South to bring our bunnies outside during
the summer but we wanted to get
together so we compromised!  Instead
of our bunnies, we brought photos to
share.  We had lots of fun and our
bunnies stayed home and stayed cool!

Coordinator, spending time with Napkin
and Fiesty.  Kyle plans grooming days
and coordinates our grooming volunteers.

Hay Day
September 14, 2003

Our hay storage room was completely empty
and Dr. Atlas at Riverview Animal Clinic was
begging for more boxes of hay.  He sells the hay
we box and applies the profits to Alabama
EARS' account at the clinic to cover all medical
and neuter/spay expenses.

We had 10 bales of Timothy hay and 1 bale of
Alfalfa hay.  We packed 90 boxes of Timothy
and 10 boxes of Alfalfa.  Our storage room is
now full to the ceiling and Connie and John
Barrett delivered a van full of hay to Riverview
Animal Clinic.

Work Day
November 22, 2003

EARS volunteers gathered on a Saturday
afternoon at Linda Howard's house to make
Holiday Bunny Gift Baskets to sell at our
Holiday Party and at Riverview Animal Clinic
to raise money for our foster rabbits' medical
fund.  The baskets are filled with hay, toss
toys and Busy Bunny goodies. The baskets
turned out beautifully and range from very
simple to elaborate.  The baskets range from
$3 to $20.  Our volunteers worked hard while
having a lot of fun!

Barnes and Noble
Gift Wrapping Fund Raiser
December 22, 23, and 24

A special thank you to all of the wonderful EARS volunteers who
helped wrap gifts at Barnes and Noble during those last three busy
days before Christmas!  We couldn't have done it without you!  We
raised $1,200 that will go toward our medical fund and help cover
the spays and neuters of our foster bunnies!
